Stone Mind's Folly [I'm published! Weeee!]

Postby LordLucan » Tue Sep 20, 2011 8:56 pm

Hi guys. Recently (well, a few hours ago) I have been published with the publishing company books to go now, and online e-book publisher of short stories.

My piece is called 'Stone Mind's Folly' and is available from the website directly here:

http://www.bookstogonow.com/stonemindsfolly.html

Or on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=stone+mind%27s+folly&x=0&y=0

I hope people will buy it and give it reviews and suchlike. If you like my previous works, you'll probably like this.

Words cannot describe how chuffed I am at this present moment.

Check out my debut fantasy novel from Fox Spirit Books, The Hobgoblin's Herald (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hobgoblins-Herald-R-Aston/dp/1910462047). If you've read it, please rate and review it on amazon; I'd be eternally grateful. The sequel, Eater of Names, is out in 2018, so watch this space.

Well, talk with Richard and Grenadier.

Go through Richard's thread "Marketing You".

Well, I'm writing you a congratulatory posting on my blog and I will purchase and review it as soon as I can. I will try for this weekend, but you sprung this up on us dude. :P Once the review is up, I'll put it to my FB and that'll net you some eyes and words.

You can also talk to some of the Black Library chaps on FB and ask if they would like to read it and send them a complimentary copy. Fact is, marketing it is all about networking the word out.

Hey, it was sprung upon me too! I wait two months, then it all rushes upon me at once!

But yeah, that networking idea sounds ace. Also, thanks in advance for anything you decide to do.

I truly must thank you guys. This site truly hones writers I feel. I am and always have been eternally grateful to you guys.

Talk to Bane of Kings, Lord of the Knight or Commissar Ploss. Maybe they could post a review on The Founding Fields!

Nicely done, LL! And I really like the title.
It’s genius. This story absolutely BLEEDS 40K, start to finish... I freaking loved it.

Incidentally, I must also thank Colonel Mustard for his beta reading of my tale in the early draft stages. he helped no end, and I reckon his helpful advice helped me make the story more marketable. Cheers!

Also thanks Ty!
