143. The Indigo Guard Chapter are rebuilding after a devastating campaign depleted their ranks to the point of near extinction. Brother Ossos, having received his Black Carapace is inducted into the 5th Company and receives his suit of power armour. While diligently inspecting it and getting acquainted with its machine spirit, he finds a message etched into his armour making grave implications about the Chapter command.

144. The overnight driver of a cargo-six making his weary trip experiences a flash of light while driving, and then, well, he doesn't know. He's 4 kilometers off course and missing 3 hours of time. The only thing his instincts are telling him is that he needs to get off world, no time to lose.

147. A standard day piloting a Valkyrie is exciting enough, but when a mysterious stranger corners Battrick during his post-flight checks alone, showing him a rosette with a sinster "I" and demanding he take him behind enemy lines immediately, the excitement gets a little too much to handle.
