Extraneous communication, genuflection, adulation, dissection and admiration should make its way in here.

Nah. You can affectionately place your intimate hand on my shoulder anytime, Xisor. We're cool.

It is 19:07 and I am wearing shorts. It is cold, muggy and horrible, but I have to exercise so my desk job doesn't leave me a hunched old knacker by the time I'm forty. I'm going for an exercise. I might be some time...

I am bored and frustrated at work. The meeting with my boss, which I have been waiting 4 weeks for, has been cancelled yet again!

Still, gives me the chance to actually post on the bolthole for once, so not all bad.

Made a curry last night. Just visited the water closet; I should really consider reducing the amount of chilli powder I add to that curry

And what was the subject of this first one - were there bears in it?

Fiorfin: not really, bears will be the subject of future video-blogs. This first one was a brief intro, and a tour of my office at work. Nothing too exciting. Got plenty of ideas for the future though!

Disappointment - I will check it out when I get home - network here doesn't allow me to access the tube.

Also Ty is far too professional to be undertaking the process of completing a childish challenge/bet during working hours.

Wimp :P . Do as I do: have some port. More seriously, sounds tough.

Still, have some port. I bought some half-price from Tesco this evening. Intended to imbibe some watching Question Time. Though I initially thought Priti was in the c-chair, she turned out only to be largely disagreeably, not c-ish. Turns out I didn't need port to enjoy it. That won't stop me.

Mmm, porty port port. (Also I had some Tesco Finest Porter on the walk home from town.)

Given the impending exam tomorrow morning for which I have prepared utterly inadequately (albeit for the first time in my life I do have a legitimate excuse) I think that coffee might be a better idea than port. Admittedly, port would usually be my solution of choice for such issues.

How'd the test go, Ath? (And what was it for anyway?)

I had less port than I'd hoped, I think I'll have some whilst reviewing some particle physics that I never learned in the first place.
