What's in a name?

Postby The Hillock » Tue Mar 11, 2014 8:05 pm

Yo, mod-types. I tire of my current identity and wish to have the internet equivalent of full-on plastic surgery. Thus, can you tell me if it's possible to change my username on here without having to recreate my entire account? Looked in the Edit Profile bit but it appears to be read-only.

I'm pretty sure we can do that. By what name do you wish to be known henceforward?

The Hasselhoff is a pretty nifty name.

The Wrath by any other name would... smell so sweet, I guess?

I would have thought a phased approach was best.

You're all very amusing, and some of those (particularly The Mild Annoyance) are tempting. From now on, thou shalt know me as...

The Hillock

This is primarily to bring the Bolthole into line with the rest of my online presence. The name actually comes from my mates being mean and accusing me of being a man-mountain. I objected, on the grounds I'm big but not that big, and so I was demoted to man-hillock. Charming, I'm sure you'll agree.

Does this mean your plog's name will be changed to "The Hillock's Pillocks"?

HA, very good. Possibly. Maybe 'Hillock's Haddocks' if I'm feeling fishy.

I was The Wrath, player of Chaos and Flesh Tearers, very occasional poster and general all-round good egg.

Rather like the Warp, the Bolthole stands outside time. Once a name is changed, the old name never existed.

The Wrath is not, was not, was never, will never be. Only hillocks around here.

Oh the Wrath, yeah I remember now. You said something nice about my miniature painting once, therefore you are awesome.
