How many Novellas has there been?

Postby Words_of_Truth » Mon Jul 29, 2013 6:21 pm

I'm trying to figure out how many there have been I can currently find 4 in my collection, and I'm wondering if there's any more excluding Scorched Earth.

If you're talking about books which have just been released as novellas then I count 18 in all so far.

Iron Warrior by Graham McNeill*
Daenyathos by Ben Counter*
The Bloody Handed by Gav Thorpe*
Catechism of Hate by Gav Thorpe*
The Unkindness of Ravens by George Mann*
Old Soldiers Never Die by Sandy Mitchell**
Traitors Gorge by Mike Lee**
Promethean Sun by Nick Kyme*
Aurelian by Aaron Dembski-Bowden*
Brotherhood of the Storm by Chris Wraight*
Flesh of Cretatia by Andy Smillie
Yarrick: Chains of Golgotha by David Annandale
Shadowsun: The Last of Kiru's Line by Branden Campbell
The Masque of Vyle by Andy Chambers
Dark Vengeance by CZ Dunn
Corax: Soulforge by Gav Thorpe*
Mephiston: Lord of Death by David Annandale*
Scorched Earth by Nick Kyme*

*BlackLibrary.com Limited Editions
**Event Exclusives

Edit: Bugger it was only the HH ones you wanted. Be more specific in your questioning or someone will raid there entire collection for the answer to what was asked :P

You currently have all the HH to date.

Come to think of it I just spotted Nick Kyme's Assault on Black Reach: The Novel and at only 100 or so pages long I think we can demote it from novel to novella. I think there were also few fantasy ones of such type from a number of years ago which would also qualify. Maybe Ath, King and Keeper of all that is knowledge on WHF, could clarify on that one. :D

The Imperial Truth is not one you'll get your hands on, unless you want to pay in excess of £100 on ebay.

An even only novella at the Heresy Weekender. Also I think it was limited to 2000 copies.

The Imperial Truth is an anthology not a novella....

And though advertised as a novel, Space Hulk was novella-length too.
