To say I've mixed feelings would be an understatement. I'd like them to learn their lesson, but similarly the only telling way for that to happen would be comparatively terrible sales overall. Similarly, it'd be kinda nice if SH & I were being 'excluded' for the Greater Good - e.g. we two or three dozen lose out but all other readers, writers, editors, market folk etc, if all of they live happily ever after. It'd just suck for us.

Humbug.

To hell with the Greater Good. I'm a soldier of the Imperial Guard through and through!!

The "Angel Exterminatus" Mass Market Paperback's available for pre-order now.

Also, £9.50 for "Promethean Sun" ebook, £15 for the novella. Going cheap!

Yay!!!

(But boo to Promethean Sun costing more than a novel! Boo!!!)
Check out my debut fantasy novel from Fox Spirit Books, The Hobgoblin's Herald (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hobgoblins-Herald-R-Aston/dp/1910462047). If you've read it, please rate and review it on amazon; I'd be eternally grateful. The sequel, Eater of Names, is out in 2018, so watch this space.

It's the 'legacy' edition of Angel Exterminatus that's now available. The Mark of Calth trade paperback is out now.

I believe "Legacy Edition" is what they're calling the A-format MMPB.

just to confirm, 'A' format (or legacy, or MMPB, or whatever) refers to the same size as the first 20-odd novels in the HH series, yes?

I don't know what that code means, but legacy format is the same size as the original novels. Or rather the original format is now known as legacy.

Yup, from what I understand, there are three standard sizes of paperback. The HH trade paperbacks are C-format; 40K and WHF books are now B-format as standard. The A-format is the one BL used to use for everything but now only for the second-release "legacy edition" paperbacks.
